A piece of men’s coat…

As the days become colder, it’s becoming clear that summer is officially over and with autumn/winter season fast approaching, it’s a high time to look at the forthcoming fashion trends that’ll be making their way to your closet during the next six months.
As usually there are types of garments you can’t live without during cold winter days.
The most needed one is coat.
We definitely say that classic tweed coats are back in fashion but it may be more appropriate to say they are still in fashion. This fabric express a high level of perfection and a royal elegance that can not be duplicated.
In season 2011/2012 you can find tweed jackets in many colors, textures and cuts.
As tweed is woollen fabric with a soft, flexible texture, it not only keeps you warm and cozy but it helps create a modish look.
The high-quality of the tweed fabric can be found in all this season designer collections including Gucci and Armani ( beautiful pieces at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5tFHCtT1vTI ).
Military Style Coat is all around inspiration for winter 2011/2012.
This kind of look works perfect for those men who really love to experiment with their look and make head turn.
The inspiration comes mainly from The Second World War with key motives focused on Army green and Navy / Air Force navy colors.
The military style coat can be single or double-breasted, and should be detailed with brass buttons, further, the greatcoat can be belted or unbelted.
Autumn/Winter 2012 brings also fur coats into men’s fashion. Artificial fur is not only woman fabric now days. Gordon Richardson, design director at Topman said that this year most successful pieces from their autumn/winter catwalk collection is the faux-fur coat. Whether it's just a part of a new decadence rippling through in men’s fashion (wear by like Kanye West) or grossly unevaluated era, fur coats are all over the catwalks.

Blue Velvet....

Whether your solid body structure is a result of frequent visits to the gym or to the fast-food restaurants, you should choose a suit that will make you look slimmer.
Fashion trends in men’s suits for Fall/Winter 2011/2012 are interesting and bold in terms of colors and textures. In design suits for this decade we see a clear return to classic men's suit from the 30s  ( peak eras of men’s suiting ) which are applied to a modern silhouette.
There’s one particular cut that returns to our wardrobes for this season. It’s the modern, double-breasted suit. Some of you might still remember the last time when the double breasted suits were popular in the 1980s through to the mid 1990s.
The difference is that instead of its famous boxy cut now we have in place a cut that pairs broad shouldered with a slim waist, a cut that defies what double breasted suits were originally designed to do: hide a plump figure.
Next big winner of 2012 is suits’ waistcoat. We’ll witness the return of the three-piece suits where waistcoat has to be conservative and what’s more important in the same fabric and color as the suit’s other two pieces. Mainly double breasted waistcoat with three buttons is really mandatory at the moment.
Men’s velvet is another new trend; it is a fabric of choice for the most fashion designers for some time now. Velvet is a really extravagant fabric which oozes class and wealth. The fabric can bring a very effortless and opulent look to men’s tailoring which is why it also lends itself brilliantly to ethnic and festive wear. In season 2012 velvet suits are back in all kinds of color: plums, forest greens, midnight blues and this season’s favourite - shades of camel.

In the factory of men’s fragrances…

 Can men be “dressed up in perfumes” depending on mood and fantasy? Why not! Times when men couldn’t wear an intense smell of perfume are gone for good.
According to some experts from the perfume industry, differences between women's and men's fragrances are created for marketing purposes only. However men’s fragrances usually smells more intense and stronger than in the case of women's perfume. Whatever option is true, believe me, it is worth investing some time in figuring out what fragrance suits you most.
Lets have a look on my picks of 2011 but not forgetting that each cologne or perfume smells differently on different people and just because our friend smells good wearing a cologne doesn’t mean we will too!

Kokorico by Jean Paul Gaultier;
Created in collaboration with Puig and Firmenich’s perfumers Olivier Cresp and Annick Menardo, Kokorico is designed as a powerful and explosive aphrodisiac, emphasizing woody and cocoa notes. The top of the composition features refreshing fig leaves, which provide energy, the heart is filled with raw cocoa which stimulates (not the artificially sweet kind, but a natural extract), while woody notes of patchouli, cedar and vetiver express their masculinity and power.
The bottle instead of being tailored to the liken of a males torso, is instead shaped to the silhouette of Jean Pauls own cranium.
With this new perfume you prove by wearing it you'll be ultra-stylish! This new fragrance is a must have for being at the forefront of originality.

L'Homme Libre by Yves Saint Laurent;
It's called as most light, refreshing, and masculine all at the same time. L'Homme Libre suggests a powerful trend today - the comeback of the perfumes from the 90's, in a more serene, comfortable version where modern spices like ginger give a sparkle to the cotton sporty transparent facet of the fragrance. The L'Homme Libre man lives his life off-tempo. He is free to change his mind at a moment's notice for he moves to his own insatiable rhythm.
The scent features star anis, an accord of basil and violet leaves, which provide the energy while the woody notes of patchouli and vetiver hold the fragrance together.

BOSS Orange;
This new contender tries to mimic some of the Hermes goodness of Terre with an orangey opening and a nice frankincense mid note. As the designer says 'Orange represents the urban lifestyle in international metropolises and distinctively reflects today's zeitgeist'. Man wearing this fragrance is passionate, casual, spontaneous and relaxed. The composition is intensely spicy with notes of fresh apple, vanilla, warm incense and exotic African Bubinga wood.
For those of you who remember boss in motion green edition, this is its older brother.

                                                       Bleu de Chanel by Chanel;
It is a woody aromatic fragrance which starts with a big citrusy top note (lemon, grapefruit) and a strong metallic synthetic lavender. It is cold, lemony and aromatic with spicy accents from pink pepper. It's a very modern and sensual fragrance with long lasting scent. Bleu de Chanel comes in a navy blue rectangle shaped bottle with Bleu de Chanel on the front. It's very simple, just like most Chanel bottles.

Men's countdown…

Quite differently than in the case of shoes, men refer to possibility of having luxury watches.
When I have started my research about today’s most popular men’s watches accidentally I found an American band called “Guys Without Watches”. Is this for real I thought. Is it possible that a modern men can live without having a watch?
Most of guys I know wear very little if any jewelry, so no surprise than that watch they wear is playing a huge part in the way of expressing themselves.
There are women out there who sees watch as an extension of your sex appeal. So if a watch is an attribute of  masculinity does it mean that we all should were Rolex?
No, no, no… With the variety of styles of watches available these days, you can get a good idea of what kind of guy you are and then based your choice of timepiece.
Usual dilemma starts with the bracelet. Stainless steel or the leather? Stainless steel watches are more practical and at the same time dressy enough to be worn with business suits and casual enough for less strict occasions. On the other hand leather wristband is an example of  your traditional approach to classy look and stylishness.
A large category of watches are sport watches. These are probably the most popular watches among men today. Suitable both for a true gentlemen and trendy hipsters, rugged type, and high schoolers, sport watches are durable, resistant to shocks, as well as waterproof. In fact there is a specific watch for every sport activity represented by: divers, golfers or mountain climbers.
If we think of another cool, contemporary alternative way to an analogue watch, our obvious choice will be digital watch. Most digital watches are associated with plastic straps and a sporty typeface where most important part play features, tools, and specifications. Equipped with gps, radio, tv, altitude display, cameras, depths, and even night vision digital watches are design for active, nature type of guys, athletes, and secret agents…
Where money ain’t a thing you can go for a little extra and get a bling bling watch. This category featured all sorts of platinum look watches representing the most vital part of the hip hop jewellery culture. Bling bling watches now becoming famous worldwide as  some of the best known watch houses such as Armani, Pulsar, Rolex, Seiko, or  TAG Heuer, Tissot manufactured them.
Some of them can be true masterpiece with oversized faces and dozens of sparkling multicolour diamonds encrusted throughout.
Whenever you about to buy a new watch remember about the fun you going to have wearing it. Your watch should be a tool, an accessory and should enhance your individuality.

Shoes, men's best friend!

I am sure that each of you have once asked themselves a question why is it that  typical men have two, maximum three pairs of shoes, while women have their entire wardrobe? Everyone will have their own answer but we all will agree at one point, it’s great to have a nice pair of shoes!
Nowdays men like women choose shoes no longer just in the interest of their usefulness and comfort but also in terms of color.
The era of metrosexuality has made several modifications to our vision of average lads.
Black and brown colors are still most popular when it comes to men shoes but we can see a generation of young guys breaking all stereotypes.
Those guys are interested in  individuality and sophistication. They are not afraid of showing their own style, expressing their own personality by wearing funky shoes.
2012 influence on the world of fashion are the loafers. Top designer always stress the importance of choosing variety of footwear so leather, patent and suede are all on offer. Classic loafer in velvety suede or in chic glazed calfskin combines comfort and relaxed elegance.
Designers also offer a range of loafers to complement every man’s personal style. As a result, whether you choose a sleek, modern black loafer, the work-casual tasseled loafer or the ubiquitous Penny loafer, there will always be a loafer for you when you need it most.
Today’s men are more and more interested in the way of presenting themselves to the world. By choosing from variety of high street or design pair of shoes you will be able to expresses something about your attitude, point of view, or simply your lifestyle.
Above all we all should remember that dirty shoes are not attractive and reveal more than you want them to.
